Let’s Use Fussy Cut Elements

Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club. I’m excited to share my first layout, made with the gorgeous October Kits. I got the assignment to create a wreath using fussy cut elements.

 

 

Do you like fussy cutting? I’m a huge fan. It’s a great way to get extra embellishments. There are beautiful papers included in the kit, which are perfect for fussy cutting.

 

 

I started with the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Fall Vibes – Harvest Vibes” paper and fussy cut some pumpkins. Then I fussy cut leaves from the “Fall Vibes – Leaf Tangle” paper. And finally I fussy cut some branches and acorns from the “Fall Vibes – Nuts For Fall” paper. I also cut some leaves using the “October 2023 Layered Fall Leaves Metal Die Set”. I cut one part from vellum and the other part from white cardstock. Then I glued the two parts together.

 

 

I made clusters of pumpkins in different colors and arranged them on my page combined with the fussy cut and die cut leaves and more pumpkins.

 

 

I cut a frame from white cardstock using the “February 2023 Hoop & Floral Metal Die Set”, and framed my photo.

 

 

Then I placed it in the middle of the wreath.

 

 

I added more pumpkins and picked out some die cuts from the “Fall Vibes – Cardstock Ephemera” pack, which is included in the  October Main Kit. I also added some of the “Fall Vibes – Engraved Wood Veneer Stickers”, which you can find in the October Embellishment Kit.

 

 

I chose two little mushrooms from the “Fall Vibes – Fall Leaves & Mushroom Felt Stickers”, which you can also find in the October Embellishment Kit, and placed them on both sides of my pumpkin cluster.

 

 

I picked out more fussy cut leaves and acorns but before I adhered them, I pierced holes and added some hand stitching.

 

 

I continued embellishing the layout with some of the “Fall Vibes – Pearls”, which are included in the October Embellishment Kit.

 

 

Finally I added some puffy word stickers from the “Fall Vibes Mini Puffy Stickers” pack, which is included in the October Embellishment Kit.

 

 

My layout is finished and I hope you like it and feel inspired to get out your scissors and create a project with fussy cut elements.
