Hi Friends! It’s Jana Eubank. Today I’m back with another layout using the BEAUTIFUL October 2023 Hip Kits. I wanted to create a village on this layout about my daughter’s church group playing a door-to-door game in our neighborhood. The NEW ‘Little Village’ die set from Hip Kit Club was perfect for this! BIGGER & BETTER

I began this layout with a base of two layered cardstocks from the Cardstock Kit (Buff and Clementine). I sprinkled the Cape Cod Coral Magicals (Color Kit) on the background, then stitched three rows of lines in tan thread for my die-cut houses to sit on.

 

Next, I used the ‘Little Village’ die set to cut out several houses from the 6×8 papers from the Pocket Life Kit. I used thin foam tape to adhere them to the page along the stitched lines.

 

I fussy-cut the acorns and leaves from an additional 6×8 paper from the Pocket Life kit to sprinkle around the houses.

 

Then added the puffy stickers and Pearls from the Embellishment Kit as accents.

 

I loved using the large white puffy alphabet stickers from the Main Kit for my title. The letters filled the space nicely and the white color was subtle enough against the Buff cardstock to not take too much attention away from all of the die-cut houses.

 

The Little Village die set made this page so much FUN to create! I think it would be cute to use to welcome new neighbors, document a layout about trick-or-treating, or creating a Christmas village as well. What project would you use the Little Village die for?
