Hello friends! Anya here today and I am so exited to share another layout I created with the October Kit! I must admit, it has to be my absolute favorite kit so far! I am sure I will use every little piece of paper from this set, but today I am starting with another one of my favorite patterns in this kit – the Nuts For Fall.

To create this layout, I cut the colored blocks into strips and used only six of them here, grouping them into three color families. Next, I adhered all of the strips to white background, slightly offsetting the height of each strip and stitched them down using sewing machine. This gave me a great foundation for my layout.

After adding my photos, I went ahead to decorate the page with chipboard frames, leaves, velum, fussy cut flowers, puffy stickers and pearls in coordinating colors. By grouping colors, you may add a whole lot of different embellishments and it won’t look overwhelming.

For the title on this page I used the “beautiful” chipboard word and added tiny little drops to it by tapping the entire surface of the chipboard with white Nuvo Drops. It’s very subtle but adds just enough texture to this piece to make it more interesting.
