Hi friends, it’s Daniela again (@daaaanscrappt) and I’m happy to be sharing a new mixed media layout created with the gorgeous 2021 January Kits with you today.
I love the fact that the coordinating Cardstock Kit matches the colors of the Exclusive Papers perfectly, so I wanted to use them in different color blocks. The result is a pastel colored dreamy page, let’s take a first look:
I started my page by mixing white acrylic paint with Lindy’s Powders in pink, purple and blue. Then, I applied the paint onto white cardstock with a sponge. In a next step, I added paper stripes in the same colors and did some tone on tone handstitching. To finish my background, I punched out tiny hearts from colored cardstock and added those hearts on the color blocks. This way, there are three different pastel colored blocks that function as a dimensional background.

After finishing my background, I created a cluster on top of it using different chipboard stickers. I also added some fussy-cut leafs to have different layers.
