Hey there, how do you do? Cristina here with you today to show a new project I made using the very beautiful July kits.
I made a mini book very easy to do and so fun too. It’s a mini album with a very versatile and very easy to make binding, full of decorations and embellishments for a sea theme. It’s a 4,5×6″ size and the cover is made using the pink glitter cardstock, part of the cardstock kit. I covered the inside with one of the Dear Lizzy patterned paper part of the paper kit and in the main kit.
I covered the inside of the pink glitter cardstock, present in the cardstock kit, with one of the Dear Lizzy patterned present in the paper kit and in the main kit. I used the full length of the sheet and creased at 6 “and 1 + 1/4” to create the border. I pierced the front cover with a 2 + 1/4 “round punch to fit the rosett, part of the embellishment kit glued on the inside page.
The inside pages are made using the full length of each sheet 5 + 3/4 “high. The first page is made with a white cardstock and all the other pages are placed on its back, folded on themselves.
Thanks to this type of structure it is possible to change the direction of folding of the pages each time, add some facing up or down for opening, insert pockets or holes to bring out close-ups.
I also used many cut files by Hip Kit Club to add to my compositions and It’s been so fun how they turned out with each decoration of the kits.
Here is the direct link to all of them:
To make my decorations I also used many dies and punches to the patterned papers and cardstock spread with paints and mixed with water.
That’s it!!!
Thank you so much for joining me today, don’t forget to follow Hip Kit Club on the other social media, you tube channel and member forum on facebook. There you can find so many inspirations for your own projects.
See you.
