Mixed Media Monday

Hi everyone, welcome back to the Hip Kit Club Blog today. I have a bright and colorful layout for you. This is also my first project with the awesome October2020 HipKits! I am always having a hard time with the first page, because i want to use everything from the kits….

But let´s talk about my project. I knew i wanted to use all of the Magical Powders (red hot poker orange, autumn maple crimson & marigold yellow orange) from the October 2020 Color Kit, they are absolutely gorgeous and working so well with the fall inspired Kits. I primed my white cardstock with some clear gesso, grabbed a Vicki Boutin stencil from a previous color kit and added lots of texture.

Lots of powder and water were mixed on the background, i blended the colors together added some splatters and totally love how it turned out! I fussy cut some leaves from a patterned paper and had a look into the beautiful stickers, elements and pocket life cards.

I clustered everything close around the pocket life card and the picture, i also added some thread under one of the circles (stickers from the Simple Stories Sticker Book) and finished everything with some tiny flower stickers.

I really love how the tiny leaves are “falling” over this layout. The colors and elements from the kits are awesome. Look at that adorable fox, so cute!

I really hope you´re inspired to create something with your kits today. Thank you so much for stopping by and i wish you all a great start into this week
