Hey y’all, Ashley here, bringing you two fun projects using the August 2017 Kits!
First up is a Memory Planner spread. I am working in August (from the previous week), so I make sure to print my photos right before I begin my spread.
I added my photos and then immediately began embellishing with the stickers from the Maggie Holmes “Carousel” collection, along with some of the ephemera from that same line.
I used one of the exclusive project life cards as a “super-sized” feature in my spread. I journaled on the page, using my very favorite inkjoy black gel pen too!

For my second project, I created a super simple Traveler’s Notebook spread.
I started by covering the right side of the spread with a piece of patterned paper by Maggie Holmes (from the paper kit). Then I layered a piece of patterned paper underneath the photo, along with a colorful frame (for a pop of color) right on top.
I used the HKC Exclusive alphas as a title, and then completed the page with a cute little puffy heart and a label to note the date.
