Adorable Leah | Alex

Hi everyone! It’s Alex. I am over the moon excited to be here and share my very first Hip Kit layout with you!

The second I received my beautiful February 2015 kitsI was ready to dig in and start creating. The kits are so inspiring! From time to time, I like to use really big photos on my layouts. This is one of those times…

I was instantly drawn to the WRMK Love Notes French Doors paper in the February 2015 main kit. I used my knife to cut out the windows from some of the doors and then I backed them up with the lovely tulip paper from the WRMK Love Notes 6×6 paper pad, found in the February 2015 embellishment kit. That simple was my background to make 🙂

The chipboard arrow is Crate Paper Notes & Things, also from the embellishment kit and the negative heart is one of many My Mind’s Eye Jubilee Wild Berry die cuts that come with the main kit. I have used a lot of bits and pieces from these two kits to build up my title.

Love the golden touches in the kits, such as Gold Tile Thickers from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Flea Market collection and the adorable Gold Rub-Ons from the My Mind’s Eye Jubilee Journey! So pretty! I have used the gold rub-on heart to decorate the cute Jubilee die cut balloon.

I hope you feel inspired to use big photos on your layouts.
Thank you so much for stopping by! See you next time!
