LET’S USE A CUT FILE | ANYA LUNCHENKO | MARCH HIP KIT 2024

Hello scrapbooking frinds! Anya’s here today, and I am super excited to share a layout with you that was created using the March Hip Kit and one of the cut files that are available this month. As soon as I saw this beautiful umbrella cut file, I knew I will be using it. Actually, I loved this umbrella cut file so much, that I decided to use it three times on my layout.

To create this layout, I started with one of the stripe papers from the Cardstock Kit, but in order to get detailed umbrellas pop against the background, I choose a solid blue paper and another layer of blue patten underneath. By cutting the umbrellas in three different sizes, it gives an illusion of the top ones being further away. I partially backed umbrellas with patterned paper in the colors that matched my title and photos.

From one of patterned papers in this kit I fussy cut a bunch of clouds, which were scattered around the umbrellas. From another patterned paper I fussy cut some flowers, which were then used to decorate the umbrellas together with some other die cut florals and foam stickers. To finish these little embellishment clusters, I also added a couple of white die cut leaves, that were cut with the Floral & Frond Metal Die Set.

Since the left side of this layout happened to be pretty busy, I decided to keep the right side very simple. The only embellishments that were added to to the right side, is a tag in the upper right corner and a few little pieces around it, to echo the colors and patterns on the left side.

I hope you were inspired by todays project and will find some creative time to tell your stories, and I am sure there is at least one that involves an umbrella. Thank you for visiting HKC blog and I hope you will come back soon for more inspiration!
