Hi Friends! Jana Eubank here. I’m still swooning over the summer vibe of the July Hip Kit and have been enjoying creating some pages from our Caribbean cruise in 2019. Today’s layout will feature FOUR of my favorite products from the July Hip Kits. Can you guess which ones they are? Watch the video below to find out!
SUMMER SELFIES
I began this page with a little mixed media using all three of the ‘Magicals’ included with the July Color Kit. I created a rainbow of splatters by mixing the different paints. Even though you don’t see a lot of this with the finished layout, the little splatters peeking out here and there add depth to the page.
This page gets a touch of tropical flair with the florals, fish, and leaves from the kit. I fussy-cut several palms from the ‘Monstera’ patterned paper to accent each of my floral clusters.
Check out this fun title with all of it’s texture! I loved combining the puffy script words with the June 2023 Alphabet Die. I cut the letters from the Tropical Pink and Paradise Blue cardstock (Cardstock Kit), layering them together for a shadow effect. More puffy stickers and tiny chipboard hearts add additional personality to the title!
I love the puffy wave stickers included with the Main Kit and thought it would be fun to create an ocean scene at the bottom of the page. I used the surfboard piece to anchor flower die-cuts, fussy-cut leaves, and a lemon-colored flamingo floatie. Who’s ready to go for a swim?
