Hello Hip Kit friends !

 

It’s Sophie back on the blog today !

 

I am so happy to share this page with you ! It’s created with the July 2023 Hip Kits !

 

 

I really wanted to use the HKC Exclusive – Summer is Here – Specialty Paper Set (it includes 1 heavy weight Ocean Scene patterned paper & 1 coordinating laser cut overlay) from the July Main kit. 

 

I decided to use the sunset upside down, backed it with numerous patterned papers from the July Paper kit and Pocket Life kit, added some stitching and make it the main focus of the page. 

 

I used watercolour paint to lightly add color behind each ray in the same tones on my background. 

 

 

I chose a black and white photo to make it stand out over the colourful page and decorated around it with die cuts from the July Main kit, Pocket Life kit and Embellishment kit. 

 

 

I also created a few beautiful clouds with the May 2023 Cloud Metal Die Set.

I LOVE how it turned out !

 

It’s a simple way to use A LOT of patterned papers without oversaturate the page !
