Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club featuring the July 2023 Hip Kits. I created a mixed media layout using the July Color Kit and some of our exclusive metal dies.

 

 

I started with cutting out lots of flowers and leaves from white cardstock using the “July 2023 Tropical Layered Flower Die Set” and the “July 2023 Tropical Leaves Die Set”. Then I colored the die cuts using the “Lindy’s Stamp Gang – Magical Powders”, which are included in the July Color Kit.

 

 

The “Dip a Toe Teal – Magical Powder” turns into a more blue tone, when you add water. So I mixed it with the yellow “Teeny Weeny Bikini Magical Powder” to get a more natural green for the leaves. I started with a light shade of each color and a darker shade for the second layer. For the orange color of the small flowers I mixed the yellow and the pink “Umbrella Drink Pink” powder. The lines in the center of the large flowers are painted with white acrylic paint and a small paint brush.

 

 

Then I cut strips from the “Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Summer is Here – Escape Paper”, which I wanted to use as the background of my layout. Before I glued them on my page I added a layer of modeling paste using the shell stencil, which is included in the July Color Kit.

 

 

When the paste was dry I glued the paper strips on my page and added the flower and leaf die cuts and my photo.

 

 

I cut out some clouds from white cardstock using the “May 2023 Cloud Metal Die Set” and arranged them on my layout combined with a sun sticker from the “Summer is Here – Mini Puffy Shape Stickers” pack, which is included in the July Embellishment Kit.

 

 

My title is a combination of a sticker from the “Summer is Here Puffy Shape Stickers” pack, which is included in the July Main Kit and one of the”Mini Puffy Shape Stickers” (included in the July Embellishment Kit).

 

 

I also used some of the “Mini Puffy Shapes Stickers” , combined with some leaf die cuts,  to create a small embellishment cluster at the bottom of my page.

 

 

I continued embellishing the layout with more puffy stickers and a parasol sticker from the “Layered Dimensional Stickers” pack, which is included in the July Main Kit. Then I added a word sticker  , also from the “Layered Dimensional Stickers” pack, and more puffy stickers.

 

 

I finish with some of the small floral die cuts , pink and orange Nuvo Drops from my stash and the “Lemon Twist Yellow  Nuvo Dream Drops”, which you can find in the April 2023 Color Kit.
