Hi friend. Have you tried the fabulous Hip Kit Exclusive dies? They are so versatile and will really stretch your supplies again and again. This week, I am creating using the August Sketch challenge as my starting point.
It’s my first layout using the fabulous July kits – I am so excited about the colours, images and of course the papers in this month’s kits.

I was inspired to use the Alpha die to create a really long title and combine it with the gorgeous puffy title stickers in the July kit.
I die-cut thick white card (it was actually waste packaging from a paper pad). This would give me the thickness I wanted for my title.
After sticking down the letters, taking care to space them evenly, I painted the area using the fabulous Magicals powder (Dip a Toe Teal) from the July Color kit. This colour is vibrant and very eye catching! Simply mix a tiny amount of powder (a little goes a very long way) with water. Test on scrap card to check your consistency.
I have to confess, these vellum leaves in the July Embellishment kit are my favourite! Look at the amazing colours and designs. I curled mine slightly with a bone folder to give them dimension.
I added die-cut flowers to the cluster with a little tangled thread behind.
I balanced the design by adding some chipboard and ephemera to the top right of my photo. You can watch the full process on our YouTube channel.
