Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout inspiration for Hip Kit Club featuring the April 2023 Hip Kits.  It’s Technique Focus Sunday and I got the assignment to create a layout with rainbow effect. So I decided to create a layout  with a rainbow made of die cut florals and leaves and a die cut background.

 

 

First I cut out flowers and leaves from the exclusive “Essential Solids” – “Bermuda” , “Hot Lips” , “Thistle” and “Sunshine” papers, which are included in the April Cardstock Kit. Therefore I used metal dies from the “January 2022 Kaleidoscope” die set, the “October 2022 Metal Die Kit” and the “February 2023 Hoop & Floral Metal Die Kit”

 

 

Then I drew a rainbow on white cardstock and cut it out. I used it as a base on which I glued the die cut flowers and leaves. For adhering the flowers I used foam pads to add dimension. Finally I added some Nuvo Drops to the center of each flower. The yellow dots are included in the April Color Kit, the others are from my stash. Then I cut the “February 2023 Slimline Lattice Background” three times from white cardstock to use it as a background for my rainbow.

 

 

I placed the rainbow on this background and added some of the die cut leaves and flowers in the upper left and the bottom right corner, combined with some die cuts from the exclusive “Hip & Humble Ephemera” pack, which is included in the April Main Kit.

 

 

I embellished my photo with a frame from the “Hip & Humble – Chipboard Frame Stickers” pack, which you can also find in the April Main Kit. Then I cut some tags and labels from the April Pocket Life Kit using the matching dies,  layered some of them with my photo and added a butterfly die cut. I also used the exclusive stamp set which is included in the April Pocket Life Kit and stamped on one of the die cuts.

 

 

Then I added some of the “Hip & Humble – Puffy Mini Phrase Stickers”, which are included in the April Embellishment Kit. I also added three clouds which I cut from white cardstock.

 

 

I continued embellishing the layout with some of the “Clear Stickers”, which you can also find in the April Embellishment Kit

 

 

Finally I added some “Puffy Dot Stickers” and “Puffy Shape Stickers”, also from the April Embellishment Kit.

 

 

This is the finished layout and I hope you like it.
