My technique focus on this page is to create a rainbow effect. I used only two patterned papers for my page: HKC Exclusive – Hip & Humble – Secret Garden Paper and Yarn Basket paper, and everything comes from the April 2023 kits.
I punched out all the circles from the Yarn Basket paper and placed them in a horizontal rainbow line on a thick white cardstock. I used a black and white photo of my dog Farine looking out the window and placed it on the right of the page.
I fussy cut numerous flowers and leaves from the Secret Garden paper and decorated around the photo and throughout the rainbow.
I also created a little cluster of embellishments on the bottom of the page (April Main kit and Embellishment kit).
I used a die for my title from February 2023, cut it twice on white cardstock and painted it with a few of our Catherine Pooler inks from past color kits.
