Hello Hip Kit friends !

 

It’s Sophie here with this new Mixed Media layout !

 

 

I used the beautiful April 2023 Hip Kits for this page !

 

I first stamped a few times the April 2023 Newsprint Texture Stamp with Versamark ink on the HKC Exclusive – Essentials Solids – Burmuda Cardstock (April Cardstock kit) and Heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I also added a little bit of gesso around it to create a faded look.

 

I stamped the HKC Exclusive – Fall in Love – Floral Photopolymer Clear Stamp from the October 2022 Color kit on white watercolour cardstock and used the Catherine Pooler inks from April and previous Color kits as watercolours to add colour to the stamped images. I used the HKC Exclusive – Fall in Love – Coordinating Floral Metal Die to cut the floral stamps, and also on the HKC Exclusive – Hip & Humble – Vintage Bouquet paper from the April 2023 Paper kit to create other floral embellishments that I placed under my black and white photos and journaling. 

 

 

I used the HKC Exclusive –Hip & Humble – 4″x 6″ Photopolymer Clear Stamp Set (April Pocket Life kit) to stamp the word April and covered the HKC Exclusive – Hip & Humble – Chipboard Alphabet Stickers (April Main kit) with gesso and Tonic Studios – Pixie Wings Nuvo Glacier Paste (April color kit) for my title.

I love the result ! The watercolour effect of the beautiful florals created with the Floral Photopolymer Clear Stamp from the October 2022 Color kit made my day !!
