Welcome to the Hip Kit Club blog! It’s Mari here! My assignment for this post was to use at least five different papers and the wood veneer on my layout!
I used the hexagon stacked dies to cut shapes from four papers and adhered them to a fifth paper as the background! This created the basic design for my layout.

I added die cut circle shapes from cardstock to the centers of the hexagons and then topped that with wood veneer!
I love how the different shapes look when they are layered together! This adds lots of texture and interest to the project!
I also added chipboard and die cut florals to the photo mat area. I added foam adhesive to the pieces for extra dimension on the layout!
I used a pocket life card to the lower left area and added a quote that fit the theme of the layout. I used the purple puffy alphas for the top and die cut florals for the right side. I added the upc strip from the patterned paper as a rainbow stripe on either side of the project.
