Hello friends, thank you so much for coming by today.  This week, I’ve designed a grid layout because it’s a great way to feature a bunch of photos. Every Christmas, I set up a collection of Snowbabies playing out in the snow and these are just a few of them.

The Design Team was to focus on frames and use one of the Exclusive Die Sets.  I began by adding a 1″ frame all around my layout with a patterned paper from the Main Kit.  Then I used a running stitch of white DMC floss to add pink beads from my stash. It’s such an easy way to add some pretty texture.

Using the Chipboard Frames, I backed them with acrylic, added foam tape to the edge and popped that over some sequins and a photo. I love the sparkle it adds. Each shaker was embellished with a Chipboard Shape Sticker. One of the tags from the Cardstock Ephemera fit perfectly in a frame. Do you like to Journal on your layouts? It would also look great in a frame.

Using the Exclusive Nested Metal Tag Dies and an old hand punch from my stash, I turned three tags into photo frames. I popped up the embellished tag frames over my photos to add some nice depth. I like the subtle shadows the frame creates this way.

Each tag frame was embellished with goodies from the Kits. Including Chipboard Phrase Stickers, Puffy Shape Stickers, Chipboard Tags and Label Stickers and teeny-tiny paper tassels made with the product strips from a few of the 12×12’s. They’re tied to the tags with a bit of white tulle from my stash.

Finally, I used one of the frames as a stage.Instead of putting the frame over a photo or embellishment, I popped up a photo on top of my smallest frame.

So, there you have it, five ways to frames: all around, pop it up, lay it under, shake em’  and make a one of a kind embellishment.
