MIXED MEDIA MONDAY | SOPHIE DELORME | DECEMBER 2021 HIP KITS

Hello Hip Kit friends !

Happy New Year !!!

Sophie with you today for Mixed Media Monday and I am excited to share my very first page created with the GORGEOUS December Hip Kits !!!

I made a change today and started my page with a coloured cardstock: the Bazzill Powder Blue Cardstock from the December Cardstock kit.

I used the HKC Exclusive Big Chill Snowflake Stencil, the Nuvo Glacier Paste Winter White (Glittery Texture Paste) and the Nuvo Glitter Drops Silver Crystals, all from the December Color kit, to create a beautiful shimmery and textured background. I let it dry completely and added white paint splatters on top of it.

I also used the intricate snowflake and leaf from the December 2021 Snow Globe Die kit that I cut several times to embellish my page.

I used a wintery photo of a walk in the woods with Fiona. I thought it was the perfect photo to go with this winter themed collection.

I mounted the photo on adhesive foam, added tissue paper and placed it on the left portion of the page.

I added two tags from the HKC Exclusive Big Chill Chipboard Tabs & Label Stickers (Pocket Life kit), one of which I used to handwrite my journaling.

My title is a HKC Exclusive Big Chill Chipboard Shape Sticker from the December Embellishment kit.

I created two clusters of winter florals, leaves and snowflakes around my photo. Some of them were fussy cut out of the HKC Exclusive Big Chill Winter Floral Paper, others come from the HKC Exclusive Floral Ephemera pack from the Embellishment kit.

I finished it up by adding multiple drops of the Nuvo Glitter Drops Silver Crystals (Color kit) around the page. It dries clear, leaving only the glitter effect, mimicking drops of shimmery water!
