Hello everyone, Jana back again on the HipKitClub blog today and i have a new layout for you.
This weeks challenge is to create a holiday themed project with non-xmas products from previous kits. I really needed to think about it but found a cool way to use the chipboard frames from last months embellishment kit

I grabbed five chipboard frames and added a coat of gold heat embossing. I really love how the gold is changing the feel and look. I created a wonky shaped star on my white cardstock. The picture shows me and my oldest son on last christmas…

I also created the same shaped star with some of the chipboard stickers from the same kit. I sticked them to white cardstock and simply cut it out and placed it on top of the big version.

I looked into the ephemera pieces from the ocotber main kit and found a few cute leaves and berry twigs i could use for my holiday themed project. I created a small cluster behind the paper star and the picture. I also added some light brown thread for some texture.

The yellow puffy alpha and the yellow stars were found in the september kits. The colors are perfect to mix in. I decided to keep this page kinda simple and with lots of white space.

I love how it turned out and i really hope that i could inspire you to use your leftover kits in a different way. I bet you´ll find products you easily use for a holiday themed page.

Thanks for stopping by today.
