Hello Hip Kit Friends. Karlla here and I’m so excited with Product Focus Wednesday. My focus today was to bring together three products that I love to bring to my work: Ink Pad, Stencil and Embellishments.

I love creating with colors and cheerful elements. I get really excited and I believe I can bring that feeling to my work.
Stencils are great for various techniques. I like to use them in a more traditional way and I think the result is beautiful. And that’s how I applied it to the background of my layout. I used the ink pad “Limoncello – Catherine Pooler” with “Simple Vintage Lemon Twist – Simple Stories” stencil. I applied it with a sponge and then without the stencil, I made circular movements around the images.

I like to play with dimensions in my projects. is an easy way to mix various types of embellishments.
Create a rosette with “Vicki Boutin Color Study – Abstract Paper”. It brought more fun to the layout, composing with the embellishments elements. I made several overlays with the embellishments, giving dimension and depth around the photo.
I used Bits & Pieces Ephemera and Chipboard Accent Stickers from the Sunkissed by Simple Stories.
