Hi Friends! Andrea here with a new layout featuring the August 2021 Hip Kits. I am using one of the August HKC exclusive cut files that will be available for all of our subscribers to download for free. I am also really excited I got to use the Amy Tangerine Iridescent Specialty Paper from the Paper Kit on this project. I am definitely adding this layout to my gallery wall.

 

 

I started by enlarging my cut file to make sure it covered almost the entire page. I cut the Amy Tangerine specialty paper and added hand stitching details using different color embroidery floss following the colors on the paper. It took me a little bit of time to poke all the holes but it was worth it. I backed my cut file with a photo in the middle and patterned paper from the Main Kit on the outer letters. I also added a second layer of patterned paper on the sunrays. I added the word SUMMER to complete my title using the Amy Tangerine foam alphas from the Pocket Life Kit. I used gold thread to add machine stitching details on the edges of the cut file and across the alpha stickers and the sunrays.

 

 

 

 

I put together two different clusters on opposite sides of the pages using some Vicki Boutin stickers from the Embellishment Kit, some Amy Tangerine cardstock stickers, and HKC exclusive die cuts from the Pocket Life Kit, and a few fussy cut flowers from one of the HKC exclusive patterned papers. I added my journaling on the button right of my page and glued lots of Glass Seed Beads tone on tone on top of the specialty paper. I am really happy with how this layout turned out.
