Hello Hip Kit friends !
It’s Sophie back on the blog today !
I am sharing 3 cute and simple cards with you !
I used the July 2021 kits for each of them !
Let’s start detailing my process for each card.
The first card I did was the slimline one on the left side of the photo. I took this gorgeous colourful pocket card (Pocket Life kit) as my base for the front of the card. I stitched a HKC Exclusive Flourish Decorative Border Die Cut (Main kit) on the right side of it and adhered everything on a Bazzill Mango Cardstock (July Cardstock kit).
I sticked a beautiful HKC Exclusive Flourish Butterfly Sticker (Embellishment kit) on the centre of the card and hand stitched its way with orange embroidery floss.
My title is a mix of HKC Exclusive Flourish Ephemeras (Main kit), Mini Chipboard Phrases (Pocket Life kit) and some puffy alphas from an older Hip Kit.
Finally, I added a few HKC Exclusive Flourish Acetate Mandela Die Cuts (Main kit) as the finishing touch.
For the upper right card, I used the same Bazzill Mango Cardstock (July Cardstock kit) for my base. I added a little bit of the Shimmerz Sun Kissed Inklingz (July Color kit) on the centre of a thick white cardstock and backed that cardstock with a piece of the soft HKC Exclusive Flourish Escape Paper (Paper kit). I placed two beautiful Ephemeras (Main kit); the sun and the little Westfalia on the cards, a Decorative Border Die Cut (Main kit) on the bottom of the card with a little row of backstitch with orange embroidery floss.
I used the Bazzill Mango Cardstock again for my last card.
I cut a rectangle out of the HKC Exclusive Flourish Dream Paper (paper kit) and backed it with white cardstock. I centered a big Acetate Mandela Die Cut (Main kit) and a few layers of the HKC Exclusive Flourish Buildable Flowers (Embellishment kit).
My title is from the HKC Exclusive Flourish Puffy Alphabet Stickers (Pocket Life kit). Again, I placed a Decorative Border Die Cut (Main kit), this time right on top of the card, and did a chain stitch with aqua embroidery floss around the 3 other edges of the card.

These cards are simple and very easy to make ! I love the colourful and vacation feel to them ! I hope you like them too ! It’s a good way to use your little bits and pieces left from the kits !
Thank you for stopping by, I wish you a beautiful crafty day !
