Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today for Mood Board Inspired Sunday using the beautiful July 2021 Hip Kits and the August mood board.  This months mood board is so bright and beautiful and I had a lot of fun with it.  Here’s my layout:

 

 

Here’s the August Mood Board:

 

 

I was immediately inspired by the rainbow colored butterflies so I took the Freedom 12×12 patterned paper and used it as a base.  I then cut the Happiness is Sunshine July cut file out on a piece of white cardstock.  I popped the entire thing up on foam tape to give it some interest and adhered it to the Freedom paper.  The patterned paper looks so pretty behind all of the letters in the cut file!

I matted my photo using some of the exclusive pocket life cards from the Pocket Life Kit and added some foam tape to it.  I then adhered a few of the clear mixed media stickers (Embellishment Kit) down on the bottom right side of my page and layered my photo cluster right on top.  I love having the mixed media look without having to get messy if I don’t want to!

 

 

Since the words on the cut file are in a circle shape, I wanted a few more circle elements so I took a few frames/circles from the nested chipboard frames sticker sheet (Embellishment Kit) and layered them under my photo.  I also added in a few of the buildable flowers (Embellishment Kit), ephemera (Main Kit) and chipboard phrase stickers (Pocket Life Kit).

 

 

Since the mood board had the pretty butterflies, I just had to add at least one to my page using the butterfly stickers from the Embellishment Kit.

 

 

Lastly, I built an additional embellishment cluster up in the upper lefthand corner using the same products that I used in my photo cluster since it looked a little empty.  I thought this really pulled everything together!  I also added a few bits of tangled thread and some Jeni B Bleu Vibez  (Color Kit) splatters as a finishing touch.
