Hi everyone, it’s Kate @adoreandmorecreate and I am super excited to be on the blog this week with mood board inspired challenge. My additional DT prompt was to use multiple photos. I was inspired by the beautiful March moodboard by the beautiful Jana McCarthy:
Poor Kimberly has been battling some shipping issues in the month of February which were completely out of her control which meant some of the kits shipped later than usual. At the time of completing this layout I hadn’t received mine yet but I still managed to make a pretty simple layout with some of the gorgeous cut aparts she sent. It proves you don’t need many supplies to make a layout you are pleased with. You can find the February 2021 Hipkits here:

I decided to start with the background. On a white piece of cardstock I used a pink/red Lindy’s magicals that we received in an earlier colour kit and used the packaging technique to cover a large area. I then watered it down a bit more and used an old paintbrush to add some splatters.
I then chose three pictures I wanted to use and backed these with white cardstock. I clustered two together on the top right and one on the bottom left. I printed out some of the label sheets we received, which can I say I can’t get enough of! They are amazing and add the perfect touch to any layout.
I also layered some of the tags, I distressed the edges and added some string for dimension and nestled these behind some of the pictures. I was going for a layered effect so I mixed this with some of the circle journaling spots.
I wanted the title of this page to be the focal point and I loved the quote in the moodboard so decided to use this as the title. I stitched through part of the alphabet with my sewing machine to add dimension.
I finished with some hand written journaling and a date stamp.
I had a lot of fun making this layout, I would love to hear about any multiple photo layouts you have done in the comments.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
