Hi friends, it’s Daniela again sharing a brand new layout using the gorgeous November 2020 Hip Kits . It’s Mixed Media Monday today, so I created a page in the popular ombre style. Let’s take a look:
I started my page by creating a background with white acrylic paint mixed with Lindy’s powders. I wanted to have a blue background, so I started with a strong ice-blue and mixed in more white paint for each line that I applied with a sponge, this way there is a nice ombre effect on the white cardstock. In a second step, I did some handstitching to strengthen the effect. That’s why I used blue yarn for the upper part of the backround followed by white yarn.

I documented my son’s wishlist on this page. There are lots of snowflakes on his letter, so I also added snowflakes from the Chipboard Frame Stickers and other bits and pieces like sequins, Vellum Stars and Acetate Die Cuts.
