Hello everyone and welcome to a new blog post on Cutfile Tuesday.
I always find the weekly challenges and tasks very exciting, and this week, at least for me, the challenge was big too.

The task was to use a cut file and not just put paper behind it, but to use a different technique. For example, you can roll the paper, design the background with ephameras, or maybe with lots of alphabet stickers. There are certainly so many possibilities.
I thought about using the paper strips from the patterned papers of the lovely November Kit because they are really too good to throw away.
Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

Many years ago I bought Fringe scissors and actually use them now and then. Of course, you can also achieve the effect with normal scissors, it just takes a little longer.
I cut out the cutfile on a white cardstock with the cameo.
Cut the strips of paper into fringes step by step with scissors and then glue them strip by strip behind the cutfile. I then glued the snowflake onto a white cardstock using adhesive spacer pads. My layout is 9×12 inches.

I chose a few from the Ehpamera pack with the stars and used them as backgrounds.
With the black alphabet stickers from the kit, I glued the title in a circular shape.

Last but not least, I used the remaining strips as a frame for the layout. I had the feeling the layout needed a frame and why not design it with the frayed stripes?
To do this, I shortened the cardstock by 0.5 inches on each side.

I hope I was able to give a little inspiration with the layout and encourage people to follow suit.
Stay safe and see you soon. Sonja
