Mini Album | Layers and Stitching | Ashley Bright

Hi All! Today I am sharing a new project using the beautiful June 2020 kits.

The assignment was to use border punches and I actually don’t have any of those haha! I bought my cameo very early on into crafting so I never really got a lot of the punches. But there was a very pretty PinkFresh Studio scalloped paper that looks like a border punch. I decided to fussy cut it. If you have a scalloped border punch, you can get the same look (in much less time!)

I worked on the layered pages first. I wanted one additional row of scallops to show in every page of the mini album. Then, I spent some time hand stitching a few different embellishment pieces to form my clusters.

I decided to create a peak-a-boo effect with the stitching. Either stitching on the bottom of each page or adding the stitched ephemera pieces low on the page so that they would peak through.

I finished it off by whole punching each page for a couple binder rings. I’ll have a full flip through in my regular project share at the end of the month!

Thanks for stopping by!
