2020 FALL DESIGN TEAM CALL

We are looking for avid paper crafters with a fresh modern style that can create cleverly designed projects showcasing the gorgeous products included in our monthly Hip Kits.

Do you enjoy creating projects with an eclectic mix of amazing exclusive products & products from various popular manufacturers?  Are you a team player that enjoys working alongside other creative individuals?  Do you have an active presence on Instagram & Facebook?  Would you be willing to share your projects and actively promote our Hip Kit Club via Instagram, Facebook & YouTube?  If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you!

We are currently inviting creative individuals who specialize in the following types of projects to join our Hip Kit Club Design Team…

• Scrapbooking
• Project Life
• Traveler’s Notebooks
• Memory Planners
• Mini Albums
• Card Making
• DIY Projects

HOW TO APPLY…

Project Submissions:
Please share a collection of your best work that represents your specific style. Include photos of 3 recent projects that you have created.  1 of which must be created specifically for this DT call and not posted elsewhere.

• If you are interested in being considered for more than one type of project, please submit separate collections for each project type.

All application must include the following information:

• Name
• Address
• Phone Number
• Email Address
• Blog URL (if you have one)
• Facebook Name/Page URL
• Instagram URL (cannot be a private account)
• Pinterest URL
• YouTube Channel URL

 Please answer the following questions (2- 3 sentences each):

1. What attracted you to the Hip Kit Club?
2. Why would you be a good fit for our Hip Kit Club Design Team?
3. When and why did you start scrapbooking?
4. How would you best describe your style?
5. Are you currently on any other design teams? If so, please list the teams as well as their monthly project commitments.
6. List previous design teams with dates.
7. What do you enjoy most about communicating and sharing your projects via social media?
8. Have you and/or are you comfortable with creating project process videos?  If you have a YouTube channel, please be sure to provide the link to your channel above.  If you don’t currently have a YouTube channel – many of our designers are happy to share insight to help you get started.

DESIGN TEAM REQUIREMENTS

• 6 month term (September 1^st 2020 – February 28^th 2021)
• Each member will create 1 weekly project using the products included in each month’s Hip Kit Club DT package.
• Design Team members must be able to take crisp clear photos of their projects with good lighting & exposure.
• Design Team members must create a weekly blog post for our Hip Kit Club blog that features photos and information about your project.
• Design team members must be willing to participate in occasional blog hops and/or blog challenges.
• Design Team members must promote the Hip Kit Club regularly via their personal social media venues (Facebook, Instagram & YouTube)
• Design Team members must maintain an active presence interacting with subscribers & fans on our HKC Facebook Group.
• Design Team members must be willing to create process videos for 2 of your DT projects each month.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 31st, 2020 at midnight EST.  All submissions must be emailed to dtcall@hipkitclub.com

NEW MEMBER INVITATIONS & DESIGN TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT…

New design team member invitations will be sent via email and our New Hip Kit Club Design Team will be announced on our blog on September 1^st, 2020.
