Hello everyone!
It’s Angela here. I have a new layout to share with you today, featuring Main and Card-stock kit only. I was also challenged to include border punches in the project. Unfortunately I own just a few so, I decided to use the one I love the most, the round binding edge by EK Success.
I cut some strips of card-stock from Card-stock May Kit in light pink, yellow and mint. I punched one side with the EK edger punch and added some stitchings for more texture. I also cut some strips of patterned paper from Main Kit and left them as they were, without punching them.
For the base of the layout, I chose a striped pattern. It’s one of the paper from Miss Modern collection by The Stamp Market. Then, I aligned all the strips in vertical on the left side of the page, slightly overlapping the strips one on the other.
At this point, since the page were a bit busy because of the many colors of the strips, I decided to use a black and white photo, I inserted the photo underneath the strips and punched the other side of the photo with the same edger, for a consistency look.
I created a cluster of flowers and tags on one side and decorated adding labels, a few stickers and sticker strips and enamel dots, all from Main kit. Last, I added the journaling on one of the strips, the white one, following the vertical direction of the strips themselves.
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed the page and feel inspired to create with Hip Kit Kits!
