It’s Angela here with my new layout for Cut File Tuesday featuring the beautiful May 2020 kits. I am so in love with the paper of this month kit. I love the colors and the patterns that are absolutely perfect to fussy cut.

The cut file I am using today is the phrase Made Today Count and it is available for subscribers here, on the Hip Kit Club web site.
I cut the phrase out of Bazzil White cardstock and I adhered the outline of the phrase directly on the background paper, using liquid glue. For the inner letters, I used foam adhesive, to make the phrase stands out. In fact, the patterned paper I chose as a base, is pretty busy, as you can see.
I fussy cut some big flowers from one of the papers of Miss Modern collection by The Stamp Market and I adhered them around the phrase. I fussy cut also some butterflies and embellished using a few colorful bows by Pink Paislee.
I added a touch of gold to the page too, because gold is always a good idea. I grabbed a couple of gold foil stickers. They stand out wonderfully against the black and dark blue of the background.
The final touch was to curl the two opposite corners of the page. I simply used a pencil to curl and hot glue to stick the paper in place. Underneath, I adhered a piece of patterned paper to reassemble the corner.
