Hi friends, Andrea here with a new project for the Hip Kit Club. I made a layered butterfly mini album using the March 2020 Hip Kits and the most beautiful butterfly cut file designed by Anett Gelencser from the Design Team. My main task this week was to focus on two products to highlight so you’ll see how I used the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from both the February and the March Color Kits and since it was difficult to just pick one more I picked BUTTERFLIES 🙂 Butterfly Cut file, butterfly stickers from the Pink Paislee Bloom Street Collection and the 5th and Monaco Collection.

 

 

This mini album has 5 layers with lots of space for photos. I used both the solid and intricate butterfly only from the cut file designed by Anett. I cut the same shape in different sizes to make sure I could see all the colors and machine-stitching details on every layer. I think it creates a nice effect and it adds more texture.

 

 

I used one of the Pinkfresh Studio patterned papers from the February 2020 Paper Kit as my base and the rest of the patterned papers came in the March 2020 Main and Paper kits. You can see patterned papers by Jane Hadfield, Heidi Swapp, and Paige Evans.

 

 

I wanted to highlight the amazing Nuvo Embellishment Mousse we’ve got in the past two Color kits (March 2020 Color Kit and February 2020 Color Kit). The texture and color it adds to the projects is simply perfect. I’ve been diving into the Mixed Media world because of this embellishment mousse. I applied two of the colors using different stencils as well as no tools.

 

I had a hard time deciding on my second product to highlight this week. But once I found Anett’s cut file I realized I had it easy: Butterflies! There are many butterfly stickers and embellishments within these collections and I was also able to make the mini album itself look like a butterfly. Yes, I LOVE the entire project 🙂
