Hello everyone! Christina here with a new layout inspiration, using the Hip Kit Club March 2020 Main Kit only.

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to scrapbooking, I tend to think too much a lot of the times. Does this look good? Do I really want to use this embellishment? Do these colours look good together? Like that. It can be really stressfull. But if anything scrapbooking should do, it should be bringing joy. So if you’re the kind of person who’s struggling with this problem as well, I would like to encourage you to: just start! Just do it! Grab the one thing from your kit that your attention is drawn to the most!

Like for my layout, it was the Heidi Swapp “Daily Dose” paper from the “Storyline” collection. Because the soft colours are sooooooo pretty! So I simply started cutting it up, and arranged the cut up parts on my white cardstock.

Next, I grabbed some plastic packing material, cut it up, slid a piece of the black and white patterned paper in and stuck some of the “Say It In Crystals” gems around it, and layered another patterned paper and my photo on it.

Then I fussy cut some flowers from the Jen Hadfield “Yellow Roses” paper from the “Hey” Hello!” collection, and arranged them around my photo along with some embellishments like the Paige Evans thickers and butterflies, and bits and pieces from the Jen Hadfield Ephemera Pack.

Some final paint splatters in coral/pink, a little bit of journaling, and that was it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

XOXO
