Hey friends! So glad to be sharing a project inspired by the lovely April Moodboard for the weekly challenge hosted over in the Hip Kit Club Facebook Group.

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
I loved the multi-colored alphabet, so I decided to recreate the look for my title using the Thickers that came in the Main Kit for March 2020.

My husband’s family decided to start a virtual book club while we are all trying to be safe and socially distance from each other. The large title worked great and I colored the letters using various products from past color kits.

Before I stitched down my title, I added some gesso and a bit of color to my background. I haven’t done that in a while and it felt good!

I layered up some journaling cards from the March Pocket Life Kit behind my photo and then tucked a bunch of die cuts into the layers. I was so excited that the girl die cut from the Jen Hadfield Hey Hello collection worked so perfectly here – it looks like she’s looking at the screen on my laptop!

I added a bunch of flowers and that cute sloth-on-a-chair sticker to my layers as well!

A bit of journaling and a few stickers finished my layout. I’m so happy with the way it turned out!
And here’s another look at the final project…

I hope you’re inspired to add a little color to those fun Thickers. Check out the process in the video below and I’ll be back soon with another project!
