Hi friends, it’s Vicki here today to share a layout I made using just the March 2020 main kit with a sunburst theme.

I started with the gorgeous hearts paper from Paige Evans’ Bloom Street collection and cut it into a series of wedges to create a sunburst. I found that it helped me to draw these on the paper first and number them so that it was easy to place them back on the page. I also added some hand stitching on some of the bursts to add a little extra texture.
The placement of the sunburst gave the perfect position to add the photo in the centre. I matted the photo with some of the papers in the kit and distressed the edges a little.
I embellished the page with some of the Jen Hadfield die cuts and the Bloom Street butterflies and puffy stickers. I also added a number 2 to the side of the photo from the Vicki Boutin chipboard alpha.
The background sunburst was pretty busy, so I didn’t need to add a lot of embellishments to create a big impact. I hope it gives you some inspiration for your March main kit.
