Hi scrappy friends! Anett here with a fun and whimsical layout focusing on the Pink Paislee  – Lucky us papers and embellishments Hip Kit Club  2020 January kits.

 

 

I always loved to create fluffy clouds on layouts. I saw a clip art somewhere with a heart shaped hot air balloon, and I just had to create a layout with this design, and many  many clouds. Valentines day is coming, and this layout shows my love for my little family.

 

 

I used the beautiful deep blue, shiny Prince Charming Bling Bazzil cardstock as my background. It is so beautiful, and shiny. Maybe you can see it on the photos.

I mixed some white acrylic paint with a little water and used my fingers to create the whimsical clouds on the cardstock. It is really easy, just dabbing the fingertips to the paper with some paint on it. I use the same technic on my next layout on the 16th, and I made a YouTube video as well, so you be sure to check my video on the 16th, if you want to see how I did it.

 

 

Next I created layered hearts with Pink Paislee, Lucky Us 07 paper and vellum. The layered clouds and heart give grate dimension to the page, but you can flatten it, if you want to put the layout in a page protector. I made some simple vellum clouds as well, this way there are three levels of clouds, 1. background, 2. vellum, and 3. layered clouds.

Adhesives show through vellum, so I adhered them on the covered spots.

One of the heart hot air ballon is our family photo. I used one of the lucky charm stickers to the “body” of the air balloon, the others I simply drew on the background with an alcohol marker.

 

 

At the bottom I created more clouds using a border punch, the other Luck us paper, the light blue cardstock, and vellum.
