Cut file and mixed media background

Hi ladies Cristina here today, I have a new project to show you. This time I chose to take advantage of one of the beautiful cut files of  January to be combined with a mixed media background. I used modeling paste and added some Lindy’s Magical pigment included in the January color kit and I spread it with the stencil also added in that kit.

DSC_9819To emphasize the cut file with a 3d effect I cut it using a white bazzill part of the cardstock kit and underneath it I added one of the patterned paper part of the main kit. Finally, I glued the inside of the letter cutouts in a staggered way with respect to the base to show the colors of the patterned below.

DSC_9827To complete my composition I used the ephemera die-cuts part of the embellishments kit, some puffy and chipboard round stickers to follow the shape of stencil used with the modeling paste.
