Hello, HKC friends! It’s Donna here once again with a new scrapbook layout using the January Kits. I mainly used all the Pink Paislee Lucky Us stuff from the Main, Embellishment and Pocket kits to create my layout.
For the background, I mixed the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magical in Cocklebells Coral with modeling paste and used the Heidi Swapp stencil (both from previous HKC kits) to add texture to the white cardstock. Then I splattered black spray mist. Then I tear about 2 inches off the right side and adhered the cardstock to the pink diagonal striped paper. I used the product strips from the two Lucky Us papers I used on this layout and adhered them both to the left side of the layout.

For the big X and O letters, I simply hand cut these two and distressed the edges with scissors. I tried red and white paper twine as well to each letter. Then I used some foam tape to mount them on slightly askew in the middle.
I also used some foam tapes to place the white doily and photo. I fussy cut two “love you” word arts from the same paper I used for the X and O letters then adhered them to the photo.
Embellishment is simply a scatter of puffy hearts and black XO letters and the date written with a black pen to tie everything together.
