A big hello everyone! Welcome back to the Hip Kit Club blog. Today I am sharing a layout with you that is a little different  but the idea came to me so I just ran with it. I was challenged by the team to create a Mixed Media layout and to use a  stencil, so I did ON ACETATE!! lol

In the November kits we were given a beautiful piece of acetate that had a magical holographic snowflakes in two of the corners. I fell in love with it and used to create a layout highlighting a special snowy memory I had with my husband.

I chose the one of the beautiful stencils from the November kits, some texture paste and some light pink acrylic paint to play to add my mixed media. I was mindful that I could not use my heat gun as it would warp the acetate so I just had to be patient.

I then used some of the super cute die cuts from the Decembers kits to add some interest. This included the use of foam tape to help create dimension. If your die cuts came cut incorrectly in your December kits the printable version is available for download. Just log into your Hip Kit Club account and the printables are in with the cut files.
