Hey Hip Kit friends! Angela here with you today! I am so excited to share with you my newest mini album I made with October kits.
I recently joined a flowers arrangement workshop together with a friend of mine. We created a composition of autumn flowers inside a box. I enjoyed it so much!
I was able to take just a few photos during the class but enough to make a mini album to give to the owner of the shop who organized the workshop.
The mini consists of a box containing four pages fully decorated plus a gorgeous fall leaf that comes from the workshop. No, don’t ask me the name of the leaf because I don’t remember it ;P
The word Thankful I sticked on top of the leaf comes from October Main kit and it’s an Hip Kit Exclusive Puffy Sticker. I uses others of them in a couple of pages of the mini.
On the first page I used a long vertical photo so I decided to create a vertical decoration on the side. I overlapped a Cardstock Die Cut from Cozy Up collection by Kim and Kimberly. They did a freat jop, the die cuts are amazing!
Part of my design team assignment was to create a mini album using punches. So, the second page is made using a heart punch. I used the punch to created three windows, one to contain the photo, one to create a layered heart and the last to create a shaker window. Then, I embellished with teeny hearts and flowers from Cozy Up Hip Kit Exclusive Die Cuts.
The pages of the mini are hold together from a piece of twine and a big tassel I made myself.
Another part of the assignment was to add stitching. This is something that I love and normally do on almost all my works, so you will note some stitching in every page of the mini.
Again flowers and leaves die cuts and puffy stickers from Cozy Up collection for the decoration of last page.
That’s all for today my friend. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked the mini album because I enjoyed so much creating it with Hip Kit October Kit.
Love,
Angela
