Hi everyone, Anke here with a new layout featuring the September Hip Kits. Today’s Product Focus is on the Dear Lizzy- and the Hip Kit Exclusive Stamp Sets which are included in the September Main– and Pocket Life Kits. I was also asked to incorporate heat embossing.

I decided to make my own floral die cuts using the Dear Lizzy Stamp Set. First I stamped and embossed the outlines of the flowers. Then I embossed the blossoms and leaves in different shades of pink and green. Therefore I used an embossing pen instead of an embossing ink pad. The pen allows me to apply the embossing ink on several parts of my stamped motif.

First I embossed the small blossom and the bud in light pink and then the larger blossom in a darker shade of pink and the leaves using green embossing powder. Finally I stamped and embossed the fine lines and details. I also chose two stamps with sayings from the Hip Kit Exclusive Stamp Set and embossed them.

For my layout background I cut lots of red squares from the Dear Lizzy – She’s Magic – Dreaming – Paper and sewed them on my cardstock. Then I added the photos and arranged the embossed flowers and some die cuts from the Pretty Little Studio – Indian Summer Pack around them. Behind the flowers in the upper left corner I placed one of the chipboard frames which you can find in the September Embellishment Kit. Behind the frame and in one corner of the right photo I placed the stamped and embossed sayings.

Finally I added the title, some stickers, color splatters and enamel dots.

I had so much fun making this layout.
I hope you like it and feel inspired to use the beautiful stamp sets on your projects too.
Thanks for stopping by today.
