Hey friends! I’m so excited to share my first layout using the most glorious September Main Kit + cardstock. I think this is my favorite kit ever. Seriously.
I knew immediately upon opening the kit that I was going to fussy-cut the Dear Lizzy floral paper and the Jen Hadfield houses paper. When I was looking through my photos I happened to come across this photo of these cute pups and knew just the story I wanted to tell!

I started by arranging my flowers in a diagonal design framing my photo. I like to overlap things to make them feel more cohesive. I also used the Dear Lizzy Stay Magic stamps on some of the vellum that came in the cardstock kit and punched them into circles.
I added my title beneath my photo and I have to say – I feel like it was very clever. These two little puppies came and stayed with us for five days and the title is fitting and also makes me feel awesome about adding the adorable little houses, which is the next thing I did!
I tucked them in three places to guide your eye around the photo and then added some buttons and enamel dots to finish the design. You can check out the entire process below!
