Hi HKC friends!!  Ashley here today, with a new layout using the August 2019 Hip Kits!  I love all of the products and colors in the August Kits.  And the alphas in the August 2019 Main Kit, August 2019 Embellishment Kit and August 2019 Pocket Life Kit worked great for a mixed title inspired by the August Mood Board!

I started with a White cardstock background for this layout, because I knew I wanted pops of color from the products in the Kits.  I cut a strip from the Pink Paislee chevron paper from the Truly Grateful collection, and placed it vertically on the background.  My photo for this layout was a selfie taken in the car, so I knew some of the Pretty Little Studio Indian Summer frames would work perfectly in the design.

Next, I placed my photo over the vertical strip.  I wanted it to be black & white to add a nice contrast to the bright patterned paper.  My title was inspired by the mix of letters on the August Mood Board.  I used two of the different alphas from Pinkfresh Studio with the alphas from the Pink Paislee Truly Grateful collection.  It’s fun to mix different style alphas in your titles and a great way to use your stickers or Thickers.

Once I had all of my main elements in place, I embellished each of the frames with some of the Pink Paislee Truly Grateful ephemera pieces.  And I mixed in one of the wood buttons from the Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely Mixed Embellishment Pack and a cute chipboard camera from the Pinkfresh Studio Office Hours Chipboard Stickers.
