Hey friends,
it’s Lisa back on the blog today and I’m sharing this cute mini album 🙂 I documented my last vacation where I was in Orlando with my two siblings. We had a lot of fun and took some great pictures. 🙂
It’s been awhile since I made a mini album, using tags, ephemera pieces and Pocket Life cards. This time, since the elements in the August kits were perfect to use together in a mini album, I decided to make one of those messy and cute minis.
To start, I chose all the elements I could use as pages and laid them all in front of me on my desk.
I chose the Pretty Little Studio white die cut tags (Pocket Life Kit), some Pink Paislee Truly Grateful ephemera pieces (Main Kit), some exclusive Pocket Life cards, some Pretty Little studio black and white frame die cuts (both Pocket Life Kit), and my photos.
I started by backing the white tags. I adhered them on some patterned paper (Main Kit, Paper Kit), then cut them out, leaving a colored border. For the cover, I used the Pink Paislee sequins (Pocket Life Kit) and placed one in every hole. I think that turned out very cool! 🙂 Then I used a Vicki Boutin butterfly (Embellishment Kit), a Pink Paislee ephemera flower (Embellishment Kit) and a Pretty Little Studio die cut (Pocket Life Kit) to decorate.
For this tag, I stamped on some flowers, using the HKC exclusive stamps, designed by Femke Kokke (Color Kit). Then I placed a sequin in the center of each flower. I also used an ephemera flower from Pink Paislee.
Here, I used two ephemera flowers and layered them using a foam square.
When I had all my tags backed and decorated, I continued with the Pretty Little Studio frames. I chose pictures that would fit perfectly into these frames. I adhered the frames on top of the pictures and cut away the rest that overlapped. Those frames are the cutest, I think the pictures look so cool framed by them. 🙂
In these two examples, I decorated the frame with a flower and some Pinkfresh Studio glitter enamel dots (Main Kit).
After finishing all the frames, I decorated some of the Pocket Life cards and used some of them as a matte for some of my pictures. Then I decorated them and also decorated the rest of the photos.
I especially love this page where I cross-stitched this Pink Paislee ephemera piece and placed it on top of a Pocket Life card that had a colorful wreath on it.
I really hope you like how it turned out and if you want to see how I did all the pages, visit my YT channel and watch the process video.
Thank you so much for stopping by,
