Sketch Challenge | Sophie Delorme

Hey hey ! Happy Friday all ! Sophie here with a layout to share based on the gorgeous sketch designed by Jen Schow. We also have a recipe to follow this week: « Let butterflies reign supreme amidst; layers and labels and splatters galore! » Isn’t that inspiring ?!

So I started with my background, doing a little bit of mixed media with the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Afternoon Delight Denim Magical Shaker from the Mai 2019 color kit, and two of the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magical Powders from the April 2019 color kit, blending them with water and spreading them on my page using the packaging technique. As the recipe said, I had to do some splatters. There they are !

Then I placed my photos following the sketch and putting plenty of layers of papers and cards behind them that are from the May 2019 paper kit and Pocket Life Kit.

I cut some velum to add behind the gorgeous acetate butterflies from the May 2019 embellishment kit for extra layers and dimension, and stitched the layers together before adhering them to my page.

For my title, I inked the bottom of the Crate Paper All Heart Chill Foam Alphabet Thickers from the embellishment kit with orange ink to match my photos and overall color scheme.

I wrote my journaling, and finally added some labels and word stickers from the May 2019 kits as the finishing touch !
