Hi everyone, Anke here sharing my take on this week’s Friday Sketch which you can see below. It’s designed by Jessica Winter. I was also challenged to incorporate fussy cut elements on my layout. Since the May Kits were still on their way I used the April Kits here.

I chose the flowers from the sketch as my starting point and cut some from the Dear Lizzy- It’s All Good-Live Simply paper. I mixed them with blossoms and leaves from the Pink Paislee Horizon Mixed Floral Die Cut Pack which is included in the April Embellishment Kit.
Before I adhered them I created a watercolor background using the packaging technique and the Shimmerz Cotton Candy Spritz from the September 2018 Color Kit.
I layered my photo with pieces of the papers I used on top of my page and placed it in the middle of the flowers.
Finally I embellished the layout with stickers, chipboard pieces and enamel shapes from the April Hip Kits.
