This April Moodboard from Jana McCarthy is so inspiring that I literally saved it on my computer, printed parts of it and fussy cut it to add it to my page..!
I fell in love with the color scheme and the butterflies.
For this layout, I used the March 2019 main kit, embellishment, pocket life and color kit. I cut out a stunning Doily cut file designed by Kim Watson and, with the packaging technique, applied some blue and mint Lindy’s Stamp Gang Sprays and a Shimmerz from a previous kit to it.
I fussy cut the butterflies and the black tropical leaves from the Mood Board and placed them around my photo. I added flower embellishments and a few gold elements, like the gorgeous Gold Foil Scallop Border Washi Tape from Doodlebug Design and the gold heart from Heidi Swapp. I also added gold splatters on my page.
Finally, I created a little cluster on the top right corner of the layout with my gold title, the date, some stitching and those black leaves from the Mood Board again.
I really like the end result, all soft and sweet, juste like my cute little girl !
