Each month Hip Kit Club creates a set of brand new cut files and makes them available to our subscribers for free, all of which you can find here! Today I am going to show you how I put one of the March Cut Files to work on a 9×12 PL style page.

For this particular layout, I needed to create a 4×6 filler card and having these cut files on hand is a great resource for when you need to create something from scratch. I chose to cut out the “Fun Never Stops” in a light pink patterned paper to layer on top of a 4×6 journaling card from the March PL Kit.

Now my general rule is to cut a shape or title out of a paper that will contrast well with the background it is on, but I broke that rule for this layout. My overall goal for this page color wise was to stick with the washed out/dreamy mix of colors that I had on the adjacent page and that is why I picked a more subtle color for my title. Here is a close up of the top half of the page:

Thanks for stopping by today and letting me share one of my favorite ways to use our exclusive cut files.
