Hi everyone, Anke here with you and my assignment for today was to create a project focusing on black and white accents. There are a lot of black and white embellishments included in the March Kits. I picked out one of the paperclips and the Maggie Holmes  Summertime Phrase Thickers Pack included in the March Main Kit.

I started with a grid design background for which I cut pink squares from the Maggie Holmes Daisy Paper. I also added some black machine stitching . Then I took my photo and layered it with a piece of the black and white Carta Bella Flower Market – Floral Paper, included in the February Main Kit and the frame from the Summertime Phrase Thickers Pack.

I placed the photo and embellished it with the paper clip, some fussy cut branches and branches from the Phrase Thickers Pack.

I ripped the white cardstock on the top and at the bottom of my page and backed it with the same black and white paper I used behind my photo. While searching through my embellishments I found these cute Inflated Heart Stickers which were included in  the February Embellishment Kit and I had to use one of them here. It matches the color of my background perfectly.

For some final touches I used more embellishments like the stickers for my title, the butterfly sticker, a brad and some puffy heart stickers. For the splatters I used black watercolor.
