Hej Everyone! Martina here with you, I’m super happy to share my latest Mixed Media Layout with you.
To create this Layout, I used lots of the Coral – Teal Prima Marketing Opal Magic Acrylic Paint that came with the February2019 Color Kit and I also used lots (6!) of the Rose February Subscribers Cut Files.
I have been working on a piece of the Bazzil White Cardstock that came with the February2019 Cardstock Kit.
To create this ombre-circle, I have just added some of the Coral-Teal paint with a flat paintbrush and a little water. I always started in the corners and moved circularly to the middle of the page. The closer I came to the center, the less paint was on the brush – like that this ombre-affect developed super easy.
To add some texture to the background, I have used the Echo Park “Precious Flower” stencil from the February Color Kit with the Prima Texture paste that was included in the January2019 Color Kit
Of course the paper had to dry totally before I have been working any further. A perfect moment to cut the gorgeous roses that Kim Watson designed.
I used this six roses I had cut with my Silhouette to build a wreath that leans on to the ombre circle. I glued the cut files down but paid attention to leave some branches unglued. I like this little movement and airiness these little fluffy leaves and branches give to the layout.
To add some coloured flowers to the wreath, I have fussy cut some of the Carta Bella Flower Market flowers from a February2019 Main Kit paper.
I layered my photo with one of the HKC Exclusive Project Life Cards, Designed by Kim Watson and embedded it to the wreath.
To embellish the page, I used a fun mix of Pinkfresh Studio “Joyful Day” Puffy Shape Stickers, Mini Puffy Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, Fabric Flag Elements, Ephemera and Puffy Phrase Stickers that came with the February2019 Embellishment Kit and February2019 Project Life Kit.
I had so much fun, creating this pink dream since everything in the kits matched so well!
I hope you are inspired to grab some paint and give it a try!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
